FAQ
What is the Coach HR Difference?
It’s a partnership designed to support you as you achieve your business goals. Once upon a time companies invested in their people. They also had reliable pension funds. Sadly, those days are gone. For those concerned with personal development and success there is now coaching. I focus on action and accountability. What we do will be about today and tomorrow, but not yesterday. It is a waste of energy to concern yourself with things you cannot control.
Why hire a Coach HR Associates?
There is only one sane reason to hire a us: to improve your professional results. This improvement often comes from improving your leadership abilities. More generally it comes from making sure you develop in a way that allows you to reach your goals.
What does our program get you?
Clarity. My first goal is to provide you with the structure you need identify what you want and define it in specific, actionable terms. From there, I help you identify the actions and behaviors required for you to be successful. Our process provides you the structure so that you can quickly identify and achieve clarity on the outcomes you want in your professional life. From there, you can identify the critical actions and behaviors needed to be successful.
Who hires a coach?
Many kinds of people hire many different kinds of coaches. A good fit for me is a person who’s value will ultimately be judged by their ability to get results. This includes.
- Successful people: who already successful but want a trusted confidant and partner to help them become even more successful.
- Newly hired or promoted people: you were the functional leader outside your expertise or you were an individual contributor and now you’re a supervisor/manager.
- Those responsible for Innovation: That which is not growing is dying — especially in today’s environment. Change is needed to stay competitive. You need to deal with turf issues block progress and unclear accountability; you’re responsible for keeping improvement efforts from “stalling out”; leadership styles are hindering innovation and productivity.
How does It work?
In the space between your ears. We will have a series of conversations. About four times a month I will lead you through a structured process that will help you identify the outcomes, behaviors and thinking patterns that dictate your results. Most importantly, we will develop measurements system so that you can see and track your progress.
Each session last about 60 minutes. You will set the agenda. I will provide tools, structure and consistent, objective feedback to keep you on track.
What do you see as the Coach’s job?
To help you visualize what is possible. To put you squarely in command of your abilities. To expand your thinking so that you can embrace new ideas and behaviors that can help you use what has worked for you in the past and take it to a much more powerful level. My job is to help you get the most out of what you’ve got.
How Long would I work with a Coach HR Consultant/Coach?
A minimum of 3 months. Most of my clients work with me for six to twelve months. But, much to the disappointment of many HR departments, people are not interchangeable. My goal is to make sure you have the skills to replicate my process with or without me. For most people, that takes six to twelve months.
