Denise Cooper is an exciting and dynamic person who is capable of bringing out the best in others. Over the years, Denise has demonstrated a keen insight into how to improve the performance of managers; executives, and entrepreneurs. Her coaching practice is focused on helping business people continue their track record of success in new and challenging situations.
Creating a sustainable competitive edge involves building a track record of success over time and in a variety of situations. Numerous studies say successful people know four things. 1) They know what and how to use their talents, values and desires to achieve their goals. 2) They connect to others and build trusting relationship that create winning teams. 3) They are willing to leave their comfort zone and try new things and 4) they focus on what’s within their control; take action, and move forward pursuing the issues and goals that really matter. Denise’s coaching process is based upon these four keys to success. Denise learned and practiced her successful coaching techniques over a successful 25 year career as a senior Human Resources professional at Fortune 500 companies; Monsanto, The Gap, Budget Rent A Car, and Integrys Group (formally Peoples Energy Corporation). Additionally, she is a certified business and professional coach earning her certification from North Carolina State University. Denise is an accomplished speaker, and a member of several non-profit boards. She has an MBA from Washington University and is the mother of twin daughters and resides in Charlotte, NC.
